Rare original (1998) version of the training jacket as worn in a turbulent season when the side finished 9th in Ligue 1 just 4 points above the relegation zone. Les Parisiens went through a period of instability as manager Ricardo left in May 1998 to be replaced by Alain Giresse who lasted just 11 games after the side won only 4 games between July and October. Philippe Bergeroo came in to steady the ship in March 1999 and guided the side to safety from the looming threat of relegation
