Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Ellacott for a UEFA Cup First Qualifying Round match against Celtic. The Cardiff-based side fell to a 3-0 defeat to the Scottish giants in the 1st leg at Ninian Park and there was to be more heartache in Glasgow as they slumped to a 5-0 loss north of the border. Ellacott played the full 90 minutes in both legs. Inter Cable went on to finish 4th in the League of Wales this season some 30 points off champions Barry Town. The club later returned to its original name of Inter Cardiff in 1999 after a spell under the ownership of NTL and recently reformed as Cardiff Metropolitan University F.C. in 2012.
