The 1997 Denver Broncos achieved their ultimate goal by winning Super Bowl XXXII, defeating the Green Bay Packers 31-24 to secure the first championship in franchise history. Led by head coach Mike Shanahan, the team finished the regular season with a 12-4 record and featured the league's top-ranked offense. The season was highlighted by league-leading rusher Terrell Davis, who earned Super Bowl MVP honors, and the veteran leadership of quarterback John Elway, whose iconic "Helicopter" run came to symbolize the team's championship determination. The 1998 Denver Broncos achieved one of the greatest seasons in NFL history, finishing with a franchise-best 14-2 record and winning their second consecutive championship in Super Bowl XXXIII. Led by league MVP Terrell Davis, who became the fourth player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season, the team started the year with 13 straight victories. The season culminated in a storybook ending for Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway, who earned Super Bowl MVP honors in the final game of his legendary career. A two-time Super Bowl champion and the 1987 NFL MVP, John Elway was a legendary Hall of Fame quarterback who spent his entire 16-year career with the Denver Broncos.
