Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Gould in the UEFA Cup 1st Round 2nd leg match against Liverpool played at Anfield on 30th September 1997. The Bhoys had qualified for the competition after beating both Inter CableTel AFC and Tirol Innsbruck over two legs. This set up a 'Battle of Britain' with the first leg being played in Scotland, which finished 2-2 with Owen giving Liverpool the lead, before McNamara and Donnelly put The Hoops in front in the second half, until McManaman equalised with a legendary goal as he ran almost the full length of the pitch. This return leg at Anfield, did not pack the same punch in terms of action, finishing 0-0 with Celtic unlucky to lose out on away goals having had the better chances on the night. Gould had been recently signed from Bradford City and he started both games against Liverpool, wearing this fluorescent yellow design on each occasion. The keeper went on to spend the next six years at Celtic Park winning two league titles in his time
