After a bad start the side went unbeaten until December and in the new year they reached both the FA Cup and League Semi-Finals. Hardman midfielder Jones played 43 games this campaign scoring 4 goals. In this design he scored an emphatic volley to seal a 1-0 win away to Arsenal at Highbury
