Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Dovnar in the 1996 UEFA European Championship Qualification Group 5 match against Holland played at the De Kuip, Rotterdam on the 6th September 1995. This was match day 7 for the side, having lost 3, won 2 and drawn 1 in the earlier fixture. Last time out they had faced the Netherlands on home soil in Minsk, where the side enjoyed a 1-0 victory thanks to a goal from Gerasimets. This match was another close affair, with Holland coming out on top this time after Youri Mulder came off the bench to break the deadlock in the 83rd minute with a skillfully controlled one touch finish after the ball had been lofted over the top. This defeat all but confirmed that Belarus would not reach Euro '96, and the White Wings went on to finish 4th in the group. Dovnar played the full match, and featured 5 times in qualification, after earning his first cap in the home match against Holland. He went on to play 14 times between 1995-97. The side wore home shirts for both matches against the Dutch, but the home game they wore a shirt made by TAN Sports before switching to ABM
