Home shirt as worn in Carlo Ancelotti's first season in charge when he guided the club to their best ever league finish, second place only one point behind champions Juventus as 18 year old goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon became a mainstay in the side. This shirt was also worn in the 1995-96 season when the firepower of Stoichkov, Zola and Asprilla could only land I Crociati in 6th place in Serie A. It would be the importance of new recruits Enrico Chiesa and Hernan Crespo that would launch the side to a mightily impressive 2nd place.
