This stunning design purple away kit was worn when the side narrowly avoided relegation on goal difference finishing 16th in the Premier League. It was a season of few highlights for the Sky Blues as they fought tooth and nail to avoid dropping out of the top flight but they did enjoy results such as a 1-0 win over Liverpool and the 5-0 thrashing of reigning champions Blackburn at Highfield Road.
