Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Suchopárek in the friendly match against the Republic of Ireland played at Lansdowne Road on the 5th June '94. This was Ireland's last match ahead of the 1994 World Cup Final's and the Czech's left them with a lot to ponder with a classy 3-1 victory. The Czech Republic had been unfortunate to narrowly miss out on a place at USA '94 and gave a taste of the type of football that would take them all the way to the Final of Euro 96 soon enough. Kuka opened the scoring from the penalty spot and the striker was on target again after Frydek's shot was parried by Bonner. A great through ball from Frydek put Suchopárek through to add some extra gloss to the scoreline himself. Elegant on the ball for a defender Suchopárek went on to star in France for RC Strasbourg and was a key member of the iconic Euro '96 team
