Bohinen played the full match and help the side grind out a 0-0 draw to earn a crucial point on Dutch soil. Egil Olsen's men moved at step closer to a place at USA 94 and matched Holland man for man in an even game. After beating Bergkamp and co in Oslo earlier in the campaign and England the week before Norway proved they had nobody to feat in this group. They went on to exceed expectations and win the group to qualify for the World Cup Finals for the first time since 1938. Bohinen would be a part of the squad in America and represented his country 49 times scoring 10 goals.
