Notes - Pro-model Lima boots produced by Mitre during the early 90s. This model is made from a synthetic leather alternative that provides a similar look and performance to traditional leather that was prominent during the 90s but with a cross-stitched man-made alternative for improved durability. An enlarged tongue was common component on many Mitre models of the time such as the Roma and Mundial, along with an internal heel counter at the rear for both protection and additional stability. The outsole supports several ridges beneath the toe-box for improved flection and a six stud configuration for use on soft ground surfaces. Mitre were notably used by many of the Premierships elite during this time, including the likes of Dean Saunders and former Manchester United skipper Steve Bruce.
