Notes - Vintage boots produced by Lotto some time during the early 1990's, dedicated to then AC Milan and Italy midfielder Roberto Donadoni. These rare boots are made with a lightweight synthetic leather alternative that offers similar performance of traditional leather with a lightweight cross-stitched synthetic for durability. The use of logo's on either side of the upper and an enlarged tongue are also prominent on this model, such as on many other Lotto boots prodcued during the 90's period. Personalised 'Donadoni R' print can be found on the outside of both each boot in tribute to the great midfielder, while 'Lotto Prodotti Professionali' lettering can also be found on the front of the tongue. Felt midsoles and increased padding from both insoles offer increased comfort for the foot while also minimizing pressure from the 13 rubber stud soleplate when used on firm ground surfaces. Roberto Donadoni joined Milan in 1986 and played a key role in the Milan side that would go on to dominate Italy and Europe for the next decade. The right-sided midfielder most notably won six Serie A titles, three European Cups and four Supercoppa Italiana titles during his time at the San Siro securing his place as one of the clubs all time greats. Donadoni also appeared over 60 times for the Italian national side, including a start in the 1994 World Cup final where the Italians came agonizingly close with a 3-2 defeat to Brazil on penalties.
