Notes - One of several player releases from Diadora during the early 90s, with this model dedicated to the great Frank Rijkaard during his time with AC Milan. This tradtional looking kids model is crafted in Italy and made with a genuine soft leather that offers the comfort, touch and quality synonymous with Italian manufacturing from this era. A typical enlarged tongue sits under an orthodox lacing system, while the outsole is crafted with six plastic screw-in studs sutiable for use on soft ground surfaces. This special edition comes in a classic looking Black and White colourway which was typical of the time, along with a personalised Frank Rijkaard signature on the outer of both. The midfielder wore Diadora boots during his five seasons in Milan in which he notably claimed two Serie A titles and two European Cups, while also playing a key role in the Netherlands European Championship triumph of 1988. The Dutchman then left the Rossoneri in the summer of 1993 to return to boyhood club Ajax in a second spell that would bring two more Eredivisie titles and Champions League glory in 1994/95.
