Notes - Classic design black away shirt as worn by McAvennie during the season in which the side finished 3rd in the Premier Division in Liam Brady's last season in charge. This was McAvennie's second spell with the club following a two-year stint in the late eighties. The somewhat controversial attacker would only net one goal in this campaign, but in the previous season had converted 9 goals in 19 games
