Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Thompson during the period 1991-92. The Newcastle midfielder featured heavily for the U-18 side during this time and was part of the side that reached the Semi-Finals of the 1992 UEFA European Under-18 Championships before losing out to Portugal after a lengthy shootout. He would go on to win one senior cap for his country which came in 2004 in a friendly with Sweden. At club level, Thompson enjoyed spells with Bolton, Aston Villa, Celtic and Leeds.
