Notes - Iconic Etrusco Libero boots released by Adidas as the official boot of Italia 90, inspired by Italy’s ancient history and the fine art of the Etruscans. This rare boot is made with a genuine leather upper to give historic comfort, touch and durability that had become renowned from the brand since the days of the first Copa Mundial in 1979. The enlarged tongue gives a typical 90s look, supporting three Etruscan lion heads and Etrusco Unico script patterns which also featured on the competitions official ball that summer. Adidas continued to give this model a traditional look with their famous three stripes down each side of the upper, while the heel supports customisable engraving for the user's squad number. The soleplate has been made with a simple six metal stud configuration, built to provide optimal levels of traction on soft ground surfaces. The historic tournament which was memorably won by West Germany with a 1-0 win over Argentina in the final.
