Home shirt as worn when The Gunners cruised to their second league title in three years, losing just one of their 38 league games along the way. The season began with two big signings at Highbury, goalkeeper David Seaman from QPR and tricky Swedish winger Anders Limpar from Italian side Cremonese. George Graham’s side wrapped up the title on the penultimate game of the season when an Alan Smith hat-trick inspired them to a 3-1 home victory over rivals Manchester United, the reverse fixture seeing both teams docked points earlier in the season following a 21 player brawl
