The 1988-89 Phoenix Suns staged one of the most remarkable turnarounds in NBA history, improving by 27 wins to finish with a stellar 55-27 record. A three-time All-Star and the 1989 NBA Most Improved Player, Kevin Johnson was an elite point guard who spent 12 seasons with the Phoenix Suns and retired as the franchise's all-time leader in assists and free throws made.
