This edition of the Cartagena features a stiff genuine leather upper for reliable ball control and enlarged fold-over tongue - both synonmous components of numerous boots produced in this era of the game. The outsole supports an unusal seven screw-in stud system as made famous on the FX-1, engineered for reliable multi-directional traction on soft ground surfaces. The Cartagena is a fine example of vintage adidas manufacturing, made from tradtional materials and with a simple Black and White colourway still used on modern Copa and World Cup re-releases today
