Notes

Rare away shirt as worn when the Lilywhites had a mightily impressive season under David Pleat, finishing 3rd in the First Division. After achieving a mid-table finish in the prior campaign, the North-Londoners would benefit massively from the goals of Clive Allen who netted 49 goals in all competitions, 33 of which came in the league. Spurs would also reach the FA Cup final vs Coventry, eventually losing out in extra time thanks to an own goal from centre back Gary Mabbutt
