The 1984 Miami Dolphins enjoyed a historic season, finishing with an NFL-best 14-2 record and capturing the AFC Championship. Led by second-year quarterback Dan Marino, who set then-NFL records with 5,084 passing yards and 48 touchdowns, the team featured the league's top-ranked offense and sent eight players to the Pro Bowl. Their dominant campaign included an 11-game winning streak to start the year and culminated in the franchise's fifth Super Bowl appearance. The 1984 NFL MVP and a 2005 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Dan Marino was a legendary quarterback who spent his entire 17-season career with the Miami Dolphins and retired holding nearly every major NFL passing record.
