Notes
Very rare home shirt as worn by The Three Lions at Mexico '86 where the side made it through Group F in 2nd place behind Morocco to face Paraguay in the Round of 16. Two goals from Gary Lineker and one from Peter Beardsley saw England through to the Quarter-Finals and facing Diego Maradona's Argentina. What followed were two of the most iconic moments in International Football. Maradona stole the spotlight, scoring his infamous 'Hand of God' goal in the 51st minute, and following that up with the 'Goal of the Century' where the masterful Argentinian dribbled half the length of the field past five English players before scoring to put his side in control. Lineker did manage to grab a goal back in the 81st minute but it would be heartbreak for the Three Lions with Argentina going on to win the tournament after wins against Belgium in the Semi-Finals and West Germany in the Final
