Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Balitsch during 2011-12 Champions League campaign. Die Werkself finished runners-up to Chelsea in a tough group ahead of Valencia and Genk to reach the last 16. They faced a rampant Barcelona side and fell to a 10-2 defeat on aggregate over two legs to crash out of Europe. Balitsch featured twice in the CL and made 11 appearances in total for the side before joining Nürnberg in February. The one time German international had starred for the side between 2002-05 but returned in 2010 following a 5 year stint with Hannover. He went on to have spells with FSV Frankfurt and Waldhof Mannheim before hanging up his boots in 2016.
