Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Rost during the 2002-03 season. The keeper joined the Royal Blues this season after lengthy spell with Werder Bremen. He made 44 appearances in all competitions as the side slipped to 7th in the Bundesliga and reached the UEFA Cup 3rd round before falling to Wisla Krakow. The 4 time German international stayed on in Gelsenkirchen until 2007 when he joined Hamburg and later had a spell with MLS side New York RedBulls.
