The midfielder was entering his final season with the side and made 33 league appearances as Walter Novellino's men finished just above the relegation zone in 12th. Gautieri enjoyed a three-year spell with Piacenza, making 91 league appearances and scoring 13 goals before joining Atalanta in 2002.
