Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Gallacher during the 2000-01 season. The veteran was in his second season at St James' Park having joined the Toon from Blackburn back in October 1999. He made 22 appearances in all competitions this year as the Magpies finished 11th in the Premier League under Bobby Robson notably scoring against Coventry and Southampton. It was to be his final season in the North East before joining Preston North End as his career winded down. The former Dundee United and Coventry City man won the last of his 53 caps for Scotland this year in a win over San Marino and had featured for the Tartan Army at 3 major tournemants. He went on to have brief spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town before retiring in 2002.
