Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Symons during the period 1998-00. The Dragons wore this Lotto design as they attempted to qualify for Euro 2000 in Belgium and Holland. They were placed in a tough group alongside Italy, Denmark, Switzerland and Belarus. A difficult campaign saw them finish 4th with just 9 points from their 8 games. Former Portsmouth man Symons featured 4 times in qualifying, scoring once in the 3-2 comeback thriller with Belarus at Ninian Park. A notoriously combative defender he went on to earn 36 caps in total for Wales and had impressive spells with Manchester City, Fulham and Crystal Palace at club level.
