Notes - Striking design third shirt as worn in the season when Barcelona displayed their customary attacking prowess in La Liga, firing in 85 league goals in all (18 more than both Madrid sides), but were undermined by a string of poor performances against smaller sides, including home losses against Granada and Celta Vigo as well as a shock defeat against newly-promoted Cádiz. The Blaugrana did manage to secure the Copa Del Rey trophy however, overcoming a large deficit in the Semis before blowing away Bilbao in the final. The magician Lionel Messi maintained his otherwordly production with 38 goals in all competitions, but the Little Master's sparkling campaign was to be his last in Barcelona colours, as financial constraints forced a severance of the historic partnership between player and club after the season
