Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been prepared for Otamendi during the 2019-20 season. The Sky Blues donned their new home kit for the last two games of the Premier League season against Watford and Norwich and then also in their quest for the Champions League. This style of printing was worn in the Last 16 2nd leg victory over Real Madrid at the Etihad and then in the 3-1 Quarter-Final defeat to Lyon in Lisbon. Otamendi featured in that win over Madrid coming on as a late sub for Rodri it what was to be his final appearance for the side. In that match City wore Champions League Starballs, UEFA Respect sleeve patches, additional 'thankyou' text above crest and additional 'Cityzens giving for recovery' text to reverse. This shirt is believed to have been a spare prepared ahead of that fixture. Otamendi was in his 5th season with the side after joining from Valencia in 2015. The Argentine made 39 appearances in all competitions this year netting 3 goals in what was to be his last year with the side before joining Benfica in September. The former Porto man won 2 Premier League titles, 4 League Cups and 1 FA Cup during his time with the Citizens.
