Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Tawatha for the UEFA Nations League Group C1 match against Scotland played at Hampden Park on 20th November 2018. The Blue and Whites had come from behind to win 2-1 in the first meeting between these sides in Haifa and looked to make it back to back victories over the Scots in Glasgow. A superb long range effort from former Celtic man Beram Kayal got Israel off to a great start but the hosts hit back with a quickfire double from James Forrest to lead at the break. The youngster completed his hat-trick midway through the second half but a 75 minute Eran Zahavi stunner kept the game interesting. Despite good chances Andreas Herzog's men couldn't find an equaliser, final score 3-2. Tawatha played 85 minutes before coming off for Tomer Hemed and featured in all 4 of the side's Nations League matches as they finished second behind the Scots and were promoted to League B. The former Maccabi Haifa man had been a familiar face in the national side since making his debut back in 2011.
