Notes - Rare player issue authentic home shirt as worn during Maurizio Sarri's first season at the club. The Italian changed The Blues' style of play and got results at the start of the season however, poor form after the Christmas period and a loss in the Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City put pressure on the manager's position. The Carabao Cup Final also saw the refusal of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa to be substituted in the dying moments of extra-time, which left Maurizio Sarri angry and red-faced. After the controversy, Kepa was dropped to the bench in their next Premier League game and was fined a week's wage. Chelsea's season ultimately ended with success as a 3rd place finish in the Premier League secured Champions League football for the following year before finishing off the campaign with winning the Europa League. The side hammered rivals Arsenal 4-1 in the final with Hazard himself scoring 2 and earning the Man of the Match award. The stylish Belgian left for Real Madrid at the end of the season after 7 seasons of dazzling the Blues faithful with his quick feet and eye for goal.
