Notes - Home shirt as worn when José Mourinho looked to build on the Europa League success of the previous campaign but fell short in bringing Premier League and Champions League glory back to Old Trafford, as the side could only manage a second-place finish in the league and crashed out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 against Sevilla. Ibrahimović was initially going to be released by United at the end of his contract on 30th June 2017 although they later confirmed they were in talks to re-sign the Swede for the rest of the 2017-18 season. Ibra would not enjoy the same success he had in his first season with the Red Devils, scoring just once in 7 appearances before agreeing to terminate his contract with the club in March 2018 to facilitate a move to MLS side LA Galaxy
