Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Bešić for the Premier League match against Manchester United, played at Old Trafford on 17th September 2017. This was the first meeting between the sides this season, the Toffees conceded a goal early with Antonio Valencia breaking the ice inside 5 minutes to give the hosts the lead. Everton struggled to find and equaliser and United punished them late on with three goals in the last 10 minutes. Bešić was an unused substitute for the match, this was the Bosnian's 4th season with the side after joining the Blues from Hungarian club Ferencváros in 2014. He made 6 appearances for the side before being loaned out to Championship outfit Middlesbrough in January as the Toffees finished 8th in the Premier League. The former Hamburg man impressed in the North East and also spent the 2018-19 season at the Riverside with Boro and continued to be a key player for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national side during this time.
