Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to O'Shea for the Russia 2018 World Cup UEFA Qualifying Group D match against Austria, played at the Ernst Happel Stadion on 12th November 2016. The Boys in Green were unbeaten so far in qualifying and came into the this one on the back of wins over Georgia and Moldova. An early second half James Mclean goal proved the difference in a close affair, the West Brom man finishing off a swift counter attack from Martin O'Neill's men. O'Shea was an unused substitute for the fixture, the former Manchester United featured in 3 of the side's qualifiers for Russia 2018 as Ireland finished Runners-up behind Serbia and lost out to Denmark in the Play-offs. A 5 time Premier League winner with United and iconic defender, O'Shea earned a superb 118 caps in total for his country between 2001-2018 and featuring at two major international tournaments.
