Notes - European version of the Adizero player issue away shirt from the Red Devils' first season back wearing Adidas manufactured kits since 91-92. The side were back in the Champions League but after finishing their group in third place entered in to the Europa League where they eliminated by arch rivals Liverpool. Despite several injuries the now veteran striker still managed to make 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring 15 goals, as he edged closer to becoming United's all-time top goalscorer
