Notes - Home shirt as worn when the Gunners secured the services of Petr Čech from rivals Chelsea and hoped the legendary Czech keeper would help them take the Premier League trophy across London too. This was Arteta's final season at the Emirates, the midfielder struggled for starts this campaign making 14 appearances in all competitions and decided to hang up his boots. He went out with a bang in his final game, firing a blistering shot against the bar and off Aston Villa keeper Mark Bunn's back to leave the beautiful game on a high as the Gunners claimed a 4-0 win. Little did the fans know the midfielder would return to the club in 2019 but this time as a manger when he took over from Unai Emery.
