Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been prepared ahead of the Friendly match against Nigeria, played at Craven Cottage in London on 28th May 2014. This was the first meeting between the sides since a 2-1 win for the Super Eagles at Pittodrie way back in 2002. Another close game saw Charlie Mulgrew turn in a wayward strike to give the Tartan Army an early lead but a deflected Michael Uchebo strike pulled Nigeria level just before the break. An unfortunate Azubuike Egwuekwe own goal gave Scotland the lead once more shortly after the restart but a last gasp Uche Nwofor strike stole a share of the bragging rights for Nigeria, final score 2-2. Crystal Palace's Barry Bannan was Scotland's #16 for the match but was an unused substitute. The side wore namesets in the game and this shirt is believed to have been a spare prepared to match specifications ahead of the fixture.
