Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Diego Alves for the friendly against Manchester United, played at Old Trafford on 12th August 2014. The sides met for the first time since a 1-1 draw in the Champions League group stage in 2010. A close game saw the hosts take the lead through Darren Feltcher shortly after the break, only for Los Che to hit back through Rodrigo with 20 minutes to play. It looks as if both sides would have to settle for a draw until a late Marouane Fellaini goal stole the bragging rights for the hosts. Diego Alves played the full match, the Brazilian was entering his 4th season with Valencia after joining from Almería in 2011. He featured 37 times in all competitions this season to help Nuno Espírito Santo's men to an impressive 4th placed La Liga finish. He went on to make 175 appearances in total for Los murciélagos before returning to Brazil in 2017 with Flamengo with whom he won the coveted Copa Libertadores title in 2019.
