Premier League Swansea showed their strength thumping the Birkenhead based side 6-2 in a lively game with Max Power and Cole Stockton grabbing consolation goals for the hosts. Holmes played the full 90 minutes despite picking up a booking early on, the defender made 40 appearances in all competitions this season as Tranmere were relegated from the Football League with a bottom place finish.
