Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Kirkland in the 2014-15 Championship season. This was the one time England international's third season in South Yorkshire with Wednesday. Despite being the Owls' first choice keeper for the previous two campaigns, this season Kirkland fell down the pecking order behind Keiren Westwood and struggled for starts. The former Liverpool and Coventry man helped the Owls to a 10th place finish in Championship and although appearances were sparse Kirkland provided some impressive performances in between the sticks in draws against Bournemouth and Watford and in a hard fought win against Millwall at the Den. This would be his last season at Hillsborough before moving to Lancashire join Preston North End.
