Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been prepared for Rafael ahead of the friendly match against Inter Milan, played at FedEx Field in Maryland on 30th July 2014. This was the side's third pre-season match in the USA, they were taking part in the International Champions Cup in Group A, and had already beaten AS Roma in their first match 3-2 as well as thumping MLS outfit LA Galaxy 7-0 in another fixture. Louis van Gaal's side ran out winners on penalties in this one after a 0-0 draw. This was the first time the Red Devils had treated fans to a glimpse of their Blue third kit and it wouldn't be worn again until the Premier League season was underway. They went on to beat Real Madrid in their last group game before beating arch rivals Liverpool in the final to claim what would be their only silverware of the season. Rafael didn't feature in this one, the right back was entering his final season at Old Trafford after joining the side from Fluminense as a youth player. He had helped the side to 3 Premier League titles during this time in the Northwest and made just 11 appearances this season before joining French side Lyon in August 2015.
