Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Espíndola for a match against Sporting Kansas City in the 2011 season. The sides met twice in the Western Conference this season with each team taking a win apiece, Kansas triumphed 2-0 at home in August but Real got their revenge a month later with a 1-0 win at the Rio Tinto thanks to a Nat Borchers second half goal. Espíndola played both matches against Kansas this season, the Argentine made 30 appearances for RSL this season helping them to a 3rd place finish in both the Western Conference and the overall MLS standings. The former Boca Juniors man fired in 10 goals to power the side to the playoffs where they narrowly lost out to eventual MLS Cup winners LA Galaxy in the Conference Finals. This was his second spell at the club after previously appearing for Real between 2007-08, he stayed with the side until winter 2012 when he was traded to the New York Red Bulls.
