Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Spyropoulos for the friendly match against Denmark, played at Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens on 11th February 2009. This was the first meeting between the sides since a 2-1 win for the Danes back in 2005 and the match in the Greek capital was another close affair. Jonas Borring gave the visitors the lead just 5 minutes after the break but the Greeks hit back through Theofanis Gekas on 61 minutes to earn a share of the bragging rights, final score 1-1. Spyropoulos started on the bench and entered the fray with 15 minutes to play for Vassilis Torosidis, the left-back earned 35 caps in total for his country between 2007-13 bagging 2 international goals. At club level he spent the best part of his career with Panathinaikos helping the side to a League and Cup double in 2009-10 and later had a short spell with Italian outfit Chievo Verona.
