Notes - Special edition boot from arguably the most famous silo in all of football - The Adidas Predator. This ninth-generation Powerswerve model was specially designed by David Beckham in a silver and gold colourway that was used several times by the former England captain during his spell with LA Galaxy in 2009. The upper is made with a lightweight synthetic, a common feature of Beckham special editions due to personal preference of the midfielder himself. Other key components from the Predator range including the traction 'fins' on the forefront for improved ball traction when moving at speed, while the popular elasticated tongue covers assymetrical lacing as it had done since the Mania in 2002. Interchangeable insoles allow can be switched between comfort or power, assisting the built-in 'PowerPulse' system outsole for better weight shift into strikes. The inner is lined with 'ClimaCool' fabric on the inner that is designed to absorb moisture and increase air circulation around the skin to prevent overheating. A 'TRAXION' configuration makes up the soleplate with 13 moulded studs to provide high levels of traction on firm ground surfaces. Beckham used this version in a 3-0 win over Belarus during England's qualifying campaign for the 2010 World Cup but went on to miss the tournament through injury.
