Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Nevland for the 2010 World Cup Qualifying UEFA Group 9 match against Iceland, played at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on 6th September 2008. A thrilling game saw Norway take the lead on 35 minutes through a Steffen Iversen spot kick, only for their Nordic neighbours to equalise 4 minutes later thanks to Heidar Helguson's header from a cracking Emil Hallfredsson free-kick. Iversen socred his second of the night with a header of his own shortly after the break but a cracking Eidur Gudjohnsen restored parity, final score 2-2. Nevland was an unused substitute for this fixture, he earned 8 caps in total for his country between 2001-10. The former Manchester United forward later enjoyed a spell with Premier League outfit Fulham at club level.
