Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Gray during the 2008-09 season when the side finished 13th in the Championship under boss Brian Laws. Gray was signed on an emergency loan deal from Wolves in January 2009. He featured 13 times during the rest of the season, impressing enough for the side to sign him permanently for the next season. Gray played 44 times for the Owls in total before retiring at the end of the 2009/10 season after the club opted not to renew his contract. The Englishman, who could play either at left-back or on the left side of midfield, made over 500 league appearances during an 18-year career, spending the majority of that with boyhood side Sunderland. He was also capped 3 times by England, with all appearances coming in 1999. This shirt had been worn as the away kit during the previous season
