Notes - Rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Afonso Alves in the Premier League match against Wigan played at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough on the 21st February 2009. The Boro managed to earn a point after a 0-0 draw with Afonso Alves playing as a striker the full match and the side would not move from the 19th spot in the table being relegated under boss Gareth Southgate. The Brazilian striker had signed from Heerenveen a four and a half year contract for Boro in January '07 for the record fee of €20 million. However, after the relegation, the striker would leave the club at the end of the campaign.
