Condition details - Bright colours, badges are stitched, size details and lower front Climacool motif have worn away completely leaving a visible outline, the odd tiny mark (largest approx. 2mm) - mainly to right sleeve, the odd tiny bobble - otherwise nice material feel, print is superb

Notes - Away shirt as worn in the 2008 European Championships, where Germany lost out in the Final to Spain. The Bayern Munich midfielder had lost his place in the starting 11 at Euro 2008 with manager Joachim Löw preferring Lukas Podolski on the left of midfield, however Schweinsteiger made his impact later in the tournament, when the side reverted to a 4-4-2 in the 3-2 win over Portugal, scoring once and supplying the assists for the other two. The powerful midfielder scored again in the 3-2 semi-final win over Turkey
