Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Litmanen for the 2010 World Cup Qualifying campaign. Finland were placed in UEFA Group 4 and exceeded expectations finishing 3rd behind only Germany and Russia losing just 2 of their 10 games. Litmanen featured in 9 of the sides qualifiers scoring once in a disappointing 1-1 with group minnows Liechtenstein as Finland ultimately missed out on South Africa 2010. The former Ajax and Barcelona man earned a superb 137 caps in total for his country between 1989-2010. The attacker still had plenty of life left in his legs and would continue to star for Finland eventually becoming the only player to represent his national side in four different decades. The Champions League winner retired in 2011 as a true icon of European football and a Finnish legend.
