Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Obertan during a Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux played at Stade Chaban-Delmas on 1st March 2009. This was the second meeting between the sides with Les Girondins winning the previous fixture in Lorient 2-1. Following a goalless first half it was Lauren Blanc's side who took the lead through Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh just minutes after the break. Despite being on loan at Lorient from Bordeaux Obertan was allowed to play against his parent club, he came off the bench for Marama Vahirua on 63 minutes as Les Merlus looked to find an equaliser but their search was in vain as the home side held on for a 1-0 win. Obertan featured 17 times in all competitions for Lorient this campaign after joining them on loan in January he found the net twice and helped the side to a 10th place finish in Ligue 1. The following summer the former France Under-21 international sealed an unexpected move to Premier League giants Manchester United. Despite limited playing time at the Red Devils Obertan did pick up a Premier League winners medal following the sides' league triumph in 2010-11 before moving to St James' Park with Newcastle United.
